Sail Martha’s Vineyard Proudly Presents it’s NEW Adult Sailing Syllabus
This summer we will once again be offering adult sailing lessons. We will be offering courses on a per diem basis on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 pm – 7:15 pm. These classes are a fun, social activity to do with friends or family throughout the summer. Sailing is a multi-generational sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. At Sail Martha’s Vineyard we do a wonderful job of teaching our children to sail, and now we offer the same to adults in a way that is fun, educational, physical, and social. Come down to the Sailing Camp Park, 177 Barnes Road, Oak Bluffs and see what sailing is all about.
Sail Martha’s Vineyard Adult Sailing Program
In 2018 Sail Martha’s Vineyard is launching a new youth syllabus, to better support the ever growing number of children taking up the opportunities to take to the water with Sail MV. Not to leave out our adult members, Sail MV is at the same time launching an adult training syllabus. This will allow our Adult and Family members to access first class sail training during the summer months. Lessons are now $75 per person for a 3 hour lesson, with you being able to work through our training levels at your leisure. To add yet more to your options to get on the water, from mid June 2018, Sail MV will be running supervised sailing session operating alongside our current adult program. These sessions will cost $30 per person for two and a half house of sailing in any of our 4 larger dinghies or in our 420’s. All we ask is that the person in charge of the craft has a class 1 dinghy qualification from Sail MV or an equivalent level from US sail or other national governing body, and that bookings are completed 24 hours before your desired session.
